This post is part of the Song of the Moment collection. For several years when I started blogging, I would occasionally post an obfuscated mp3 file for visitors to download without letting them know what the song was. The filename was always simply song.mp3 so when I posted a new one, the previous #sotm would be overwritten.

I just can’t get enough of this blogger thing. I’ve started a new blog called Song of the Moment. Is it a featurette? I don’t know. Whenever I get around to it, probably once each day, I will stick a new song in my songs directory and name it song.mp3. (If you want to send me a song for some reason, please do. Just let me know ahead of time!) You’ll only have about a day to catch the current song, though, because I’ll overwrite it the next time I put a new song there.

A few years ago I was trying to determine what cocktails I could make with the alcohol I had at home. I searched the App Store but couldn't find an app that would let me do that, so I built one.
