Hi DVG or DavidGagne. I really really really miss your dolphin sex blog and the discussions we had going on over there. It was fun to talk about that and hear different people’s views/experiences on the subject. Also I wish I could get ahold of some of the people’s email addresses from that blog. Could you please put the blog back up so we can post to it again? I wonder where cookalooka and all those people got to now? I really miss that blog!!!!

Please stop incriminating each other; this is supposed to be discussion about people’s relationships with dolphins (which actually started out as a discussion about a joke). Just because someone has beliefs, customs, habits etc. outside of those you are used to, you don’t have to insinuate stupidity of insanity. You should make peace with their beliefs and try to learn something about them by asking the person.
S-S has made it clear that that if you guys would lay-off, she would be more willing to hear your side or the story and what you have to say, I myself find some of it very intriguing.
Also there are actually several kinds of love, in English we only have one word for it no matter what type it is, some other languages, Greek for one, have different words for each type.
A love of pets as an object would be material love, but if she was describing a pet as more than an item it would come under either familial (love of family) or friendship. Compassionate (Caring about others, desire to help them and so on) this love sounds more like what she is describing. She doesn’t want a passionate/sexual relationship with one but she does care about their well being. Cookalooka from way back appeared to be displaying a romantic/passionate love; he did get depressed when Sophie died. (Where is he anyway?).
If you feel I’m wrong here’s a list of all the types of love I know, which one suites you?

And that Nazis are so popular over in /b/, just had to throw that out), A delphinic zoophile is a person that loves dolphins like they would family or lovers, so you’re saying you don’t love them like family or lovers, so in turn, they are just pets to you. aka, to you, you will only love them like a pet. At least I didn’t say Bestiality, because THAT is animal raep.

I fully agree with you Shadow. I certainly did not come in here and immediatly start attacking everyone’s English and spelling. Nor did I go crazy and slam people’s family members, call them a failure, or tell them to go kill themselve’s! That in itself is just not right. When you start hearing things like that it’s a natural defense mechanism to defend yourself. If all that had been avoided and we stayed on topic……all would be well and quite possibly I would be more openminded to listen to the logistics. I did credit D-D for not speaking with ignorance and I do credit you.

No_Body, plain and simply fact…..I simply noticted that milktoast had asked a question and nobody addressed it, so I thought I would bring it to your attention! It has nothing to do with me being curious about anything. I definately love dolphins, but NOT in a sexual way!

I personally would have no idea what a dolphin feels like but i’d like to touch one, not for mating but because their awsome creatures.
I went to seaworld and one of the visitors who were asked to comment on what the dolphin felt like (she was allowed to pet it) said it was a little slimy.
If thats anything to go by.

S-S if you hate it here why do you stay? they clearly don’t want to hear the things you say. i admit some of the things you say are valid however some of what they say is too, so why fight about it?
This is a discussion not an argument, i prefer to read facts and experiences from both types of people here. I’m not blaming you in particulare. Why don’t you guys just calm down and discuss your oppinions rather than throwing verbal abuse at each other.
It would help if you both stop calling each other illiterate, disgusting, sex criminals and nut jobs, etc. You all seem very reasonable.

This is about everyone’s love of dolphins, no matter how they choose to express it, as long as your not raping or abusing them, I think it’s o.k, maybe not considered natural (YET).

Well, what I feel is not “Beastiality” I feel “Zoophillia.”
They ARE in fact two totally different things.
If I had delphinic beastiality, then I would just feel like going out and forcing a dolphin to mate with me whether it wanted to or not.
But,
since I am a delphinic zoophile, I would rather love one like, well, how husband loves wife.

And seeing that you don’t even care about my feelings towards these species then why should I listen to you? I, for one, also think that you are a delphinic zoophile in the closet. There are also organisations out there working to protect righteous zoophiles too.

I mean the term “normal” can have a whole bunch of meanings for every individual… .You say normal is having a familly, a job and just living your everyday life, right? Hi I’m new to comment here but a long time reader, I find this topic interesting since I myself don’t know whether it should be regarded as wrong, right or in between. S-S represents one side of the argument and a whole bunch of you guys represent the other and well I’ll say I among others represent the neutral, between the light of both sides where your shadows will always mix, as my name implies.

Anyway I have some questions which if any of you can truly answer should help at least to give you a criteria for comparison.
First of all who’s to say what is normal, can anyone here truly define real normality, if you can I’d really like to know.
I’d also like to ask who the wise man is, is it a real person who anyone can trust. Obviously the people who do enjoy this ahem alternative lifestyle obviously do not regard it as a violation of their dignity and since you probably aren’t related to anyone who has done it or done it yourself how does it affect you “dignity” in any way. Why correct people when there is no true correct, the crusaders thought what they were doing was correct but do you think so? (I am not targeting any social group in particular)

personally I believe its a matter of pure choice, it doesn’t hurt anybody and it raises the status of animals, who together, may I remind you all, are much, much more important than humanity itself. We can’t live without them but they can live without us. I believe dolphins are to be the next intelligent species, treat them with respect, which I think both sides are more than capable of, just in a different way. I’ll leave it at that.
