When I bought my new laptop, I reformatted & repartitioned my hard drive and installed Windows XP Pro... Ooops, bad idea. XP drivers did not exist for several of the laptops' devices. Only Vista drivers. So, I recovered back to Windows Vista, returned it to the dealer, and bought the best laptop I could find that would still run XP Pro. Windows Vista? Okay, maybe next year.
