M4O

I can’t remember how I happened upon Money4Opinions.Com, but I’m interested. They want $19.95 to join their little community, so that makes me wary – I tend to be skeptical. I’m not about to plunk down twenty bucks unless I can find some objective review. I searched Google and Yahoo and couldn’t find anything about this place, although I did learn that they advertise in just about every college newspaper’s on-line classified section. I couldn’t find any reviews or disparaging comments about them, though. Has anyone seen this site? Is anyone a member? Is it a scam? Do tell.

[Update: I have gotten quite a few comments here and dozens of readers have written me to say that m4o.com is, in fact, a scam. Stay away from that site!]
[Update 2: PaidOpinions.com is a sister scam. Stay away from them, too!]

I’ve gotten more than 150 comments on this post, and most of them are of the “Thank You!” variety.
Did reading this article just save you $20, $30, $40? If so, please consider leaving me a tip! Even $1 would be a thrill for me.

  1. I’m a student at the University of Iowa and happened to stumble across an ad for the website in a paper. Skeptical, I finally ended up at the Better Business Bureau website. They gave Money4Opinions.Com an “unsatisfactory business record,” listing this rating due to the company’s poor history of responding to customer complaints over the past three years.

  2. This is a SCAM. And I’m an idiot out $19.95 to prove it. They do not have anything to do with surveys or, for that matter, anything legitimate at all. They take your money (with the false promise of a refund if you’re not satisfied), and then give you a list of 152 web sites completely unrelated to participating in surveys or anything remotely like it. When I complained to them, they said they don’t give refunds, but feel free to write them snail mail and they’d be happy to throw my request in the trash.

Do not go near these guys. Some con artist on Monster.com, going by the name CeCe Records (cecerecordsadv1@yahoo.com) is running the following ad: “Survey Participants / Focus Group Panelist Starting $15.00 per hour” for all country regions. DO NOT FALL FOR IT. CeCe Records works for M4O simply to drum up business.

Yeah, I’m a fool for having fallen for their line and am twenty bucks the poorer to show for it.

Hope others read this before they make the same stupid mistake I did.

  3. thank you Thank You THANK YOU!!! I received a job notice from Monster.com about this CeCe Records, which turned out to be Money4Opinions. I immediately smelled *scam* like you guys & tried searching for info – only finding this jewel of davidgagne.com amongst jillions of newspaper ads. What’s really scary is that they have an actual acct w/ PayPal, which gives them a legit aura they apparently don’t deserve, according to the 2 posts above. I’m SO very glad I didn’t fall for it. Thanks again to Megs, Erikanna, & David 🙂

  4. Thanks for the feedback on this scam! It sounded to good to be true.

  5. That’s how I found you, I was doing the same things, looking to see if anyone else has used it. I’m just as skeptical about it too, especially since they have advertised everywhere. Let me know if you here anything.

  6. I am so happy to find your website with the truth about Money$Opinions.com.
I am a retired guy in Daytona Beach Florida looking for a way to make some extra bucks and ran across a bunch of job listings for cecerecorsonline.com. It did look “too good to be true” so I waited to find out more info before give up my $20.
Hey, your site saved me $20 and lots of heartache beside making a fool of myself.
    I profusely thank you.

  7. Thanks for this page. I too smelled scam from the beginning. Why would they charge you to answer surveys? I feel bad for all those who got ripped off. Keep this page up David, its the only decent page that Google gives people to do research on these guys. Thanks again.

  8. Thanks! I’m glad I searched and found you on Google before I forked over $20. 🙂

  9. As a followup to my last post; I have called monster.com and they told me that they were aware and doing something about it. I also sent an e-mail to paypal and am waiting for an answer. It always helps to cloud up and rain all over these anul-retentive jerks that run scams to take advantage of us poor souls. Action always speaks louder than words. i am just sorry for those who fell for their scam. Thanks again for your site David.

  10. Hey guys, found this page right after I signed up. I spent a long time looking for info on them. I’ll let you know how it goes. I figured $20 is what I spend on a “light” night out and it was worth the sacrifice of one night to see if this is true. There corporate info on their web page has a California address which I reverse looked up on superpages.com. It seems to be a legit address and the only related business in that shopping center is Black Belt Programming (internet company)
13428 Maxella Ave, Marina Del Rey, CA 90292
    (310) 821-2663. There is a lso an attorney in the same shopping center and you better believe I will retain their services if this is a full-blown scam. I will be an attorney myself very soon and will not stand for this fraud especially preying on college students. I’ll keep you posted.

  11. Thank You! Like Larry in response No.6, I’m a retired guy in MS, also scrounging around for a few extra bucks. You’d think Monster would screen their ads better. I’m old enough to know “If it sounds too good to be true. . .” and such, but when you’re desperate enough – well anyway, I’m sure glad that there, burried in google , was your website. Thank goodness it was on the first page. . . You’re providing a great service, David. (Now if you could change the red-green comments box so us color blind folks could see what we’re typing…

  12. Hey, thanks for the heads up!
I’ve fallen for a scam like this and lost my $ once and still I continue to search for the honest one’s.
I’d prefer not to part with any more cash in the process though.
Anyone know of anything out there like this that’s not a scam?
    Thanks again, David.

  13. Amazig how one search yields a little info before coughing up cash. Also beware of AllWorkathome.com, same principle in practice – send us money for a useless list. If it sounds to good to be true – it probably isnt.

  14. Thank you for having this site. I too was tempted to plop down twenty dollars. I have emailed them several times, requestiing more information and havent received a response yet. Being skeptical I tried to find a review on them through Google and thank god I found your site. Someone needs to report these people. Again Thanks!

  15. Hey guys, here my update. What is your definition of scam? For many years now I have seen ads in almost every newspaper saying, “Porsche and other luxury cars, UNDER $500”. These have been ads for you to call an 800-number to receive a list of government auctions. you pay $25 and you get a crappy list you could have pulled yourself off the internet. THE POINT? You didn’t have to do the leg work so you paiod for it. M4Opinions seems to be the same deal. They have a list of 150 survey websites that you could have pulled up yourself. As I was going through each one I realized if I would have tried to find all these websites myself it would have taken more time than I can imagine not to mention I wouldn’t know when I had found the end of these kind of websites. HERE’S THE DEAL. From what I have seen about 40% of them lead you to places that pay cash for doing online surveys. The others enter you in drawings for cash or prizes (now that sounds like a scam!!) for your participation. Eleven hours later on a T1 connection I decided that if it came down to it, I would probably sell a list of sites that offer cash only surveys. I don’t have time to deal with that crap. Anyway I sgned up at aabout 20 survey sites and becuase each one requires some sort od demographic screening questionnare don’t expect to make money any time soon. If you sign up with enough of thes (I am assuming around 100 or so) you could in a few months have a decent monthly SUPPLEMENTAL income. The chances of you being chosen randomly or based on your initial questionnare on a daily bazis is slim. Online surveys I beklieve is a relatively young industry and service so it is probably pretty volatile as is the companies who run them. I PAID $20 FOR ABOUT A DAY’S WORTH OF WORK FOR SOMEBODY. Now they are trying to cash in. They are not very smart though because sites like this will kill them. So what took a day for them to do? They went to http://www.money4surveys.com followed and copied some links and than exploited the **** out of the notion of easy money for sitting on your ass in front of your computer like you do almost all day or all night (how else would you have found this site). THAT’S RIGHT KIDDIES go to http://www.money4surveys.com and this is what $20 got you. I warn you, even though it’s free, it’s very time consuming and who knows if it will pay off like you would expect it to. Good luck and I hope my $20 helps somebody out. Any other questions, call me at 813-215-5946. Peace.

  16. Hey! Do you know that CeCerecords has 2,970 postings on Monster as of today? What are Monster’s standards anyway? (Thanks David, for changing that red-green thing.)

  17. I cannot put into words how thankful I am to you David. Keep up the good work.

  18. This scam is up to 39.95!!

  19. I am so glad i found out this info before i paid any money. thanks to everybody who did research and saved a lot of us some money.

  20. Thanks for saving me $20

  21. Hey, All! I cannot get mail to their address. Maybe your site it doing a fantastic job! Thanks for the info!

  22. Thanks for the warning. I’ll tell my other job-seeking and new to internet friends there are trustworthy sources of help.

  23. I too was interested in making some pocket change and went into Monster to see what was listed today. I saw the numerous “cece records” listings and not hearing of this company previously, I used Google to check it out, maybe a “home” page. What I saw was David’s offerings of some wise people. So glad at my age I still have the internal instincts to check before parting with bucks. Thanks David, and those who have commented on this obvious scam. Can’t understand why “cece records” is still part of the Monster.com listings. Tell them to get rid of them ! !

  24. david your site is a god send. My company reciently downsized and I found myself without a job, desperate to have money coming in for myself and ny young daughter I was almost lured into the scam. The price is up to $39.95, that’s almost a weeks worth of groceries. Thanks to everyone who commented and kept the desperate like me from falling victim

  25. I to was almost lured into this scam, thank god i checked into them before forking over 39.95 for nothing, thanks for the site and keep up the good work.

  26. David~~~~YOU THE MONSTER!!!! Thanks for saving me $39.95! CeCe Records & Money4Opinions.Com are a big RIP OFF!!!!

  27. Well I wish I had found this site earlier today via Monster.com. Yes, I was scammed by them too. Not for 19.95 though but for a whopping 39.95! 🙁 I felt a false sence of security because they took payment via PayPal. Uhhh…how could I have been so stupid? Well its desprate times I guess with a mortgage to pay and my husbands job cutting back to only 20 hours a weeks and two little ones to take care of one of which is autistic and requires me home for his care. So not knowing how the mortgage will be paid in a couple weeks I got desparate and falled for this. I only wished I had seen your site sooner:( This makes me sick!…Angie

  28. This site saved me 39.95. THANK YOU VERY MUCH. Monster.com should remove this scam asap.

  29. I am soooo glad that i found your site! I was ready to give away $39.95.. I knew it was too good to be true but i almost fell for it anyway. Why does MONSTER help support this SCAM?

    thanks very much…

  30. thanks david. my husband lost his job recently and i was feeling quite desperate. Why does Monster participate is this nonsense?

  31. Thank you for the warning.I came across these comments about cecerecords by accident. Boy am I glad I did.You think its bad
being out of $20. Now they are charging
$39.95. I’m glad I read your comments before
    I signed up. Thanks again.

  32. David I saw the add while substitute teaching searching for work and e-mailed without success. I figured it was a dupe, but I did not follow it quickly and did not contact the company, but Google had your site pop right up when you searched for CECERecords.
Let me tell you I have been reading classifieds for years, sometimes one third of the adds are scams. If it is too good to sound true, then it is not.

    Vic

  33. I am another victim of M4o. I have written them weeks ago for a refund with zero response and I better not wait for one. This is such a fraud and should be shut down!!!! If any files a law suit I am in!!!!

  34. Thanks for the notice. I was looking into making extra money and while looking into the CeCe records I found your site and am glad I went to it first. I would have thought that monster.com had better screening and prevented most of the scams from getting through. I have been looking for something I can do through my home, but have not found anything yet that doesn’t ask for a lot of money or legit. Still looking. Thanks!!!!

  35. I am currently looking for a second income. I received an e-mail from “AllWorkatHomeJobs.com”, is this for real? Please advise, before I waste hard earned money. Any info would be greatly appreciated. THANK YOU!!!!

  36. David— Thank you for this site. I figured it was too good to be true, however they are operating under a new name on monster— surferstaffing.com so it did not have a link to bring up. Can you fix that? I am a HR Manager in the Anchorage, AK are and having been slow I was trying to help some of my employees find supplemental work. I told them I would search for info tonight and thatk God I did. You are a God send David, keep up the good work.
    God Bless,
    Jenn

  37. I was stupid and did pay the 39.95 and there is now no website to be found!! Has anyone tried to get their money back-is it possible through paypal? Please let me know!!!! I feel so stupid!

  38. A few months ago i forked over a hard earned $20 and thought ignorantly “Hey I can make that twenty back in no time”. I was lazy for a few months and then remembered I could fill out surveys and get paid. SO when i went to the money4opinions.com website to start working, voila~, it’s not up anymore! Isnt this totally illegal somehow and cant the feds track these crooks down and refund all of us?

  39. Hi Guys,….I fell for it too…i’m a student at the university of iowa….so far I’ve contacted paypal, the bbb, and the iowa state attorney general so I’m trying to get my money back as well….e-mail me if you can help me out or would be willing to provide info that this is a scam!!! anthony-cervini@uiowa.edu

  40. by the way, check out their new site….conveniently titled
    http://www.opinions4money.com

  41. Now it’s Opinions4Dollars.com – Same crap! I just let Monster know that they are back

  42. Why is this all in caps? the caps-lock is off. Anyway…….I was one of the idiots who fell for this trick too with m4o.com. i feel like we should all sue them, but how? I paid $20 for that stupid thing and they listed a bunch of stupid survey sites! the real ones you get pai d $3 for each survey and it doesn’t cost money to join. I asked m4o.com for my money back, but i haven’t heard from them since! ahhh!!!! so mad. i hope they get sued big time.

  43. i fell for it to guys i feel like such a loser, is there anything we can do to pay back these people? it can’t be legal to remove the webpage after paying for a service. i go to the university of delaware and they’ve had the ad in the student paper for months now. i feel like taking out my own ad.

  44. I have paid for a “directory” of work at home “opportunities” which arrived originally in the form of 10 lengthy emails, and I get “updates” approximately once a week. All the listings are nationwide, so it takes quite a bit of sifting through. I did pay paidopinions.com $29.95 for what turned out to be a list of websites on which you have to sign up in order to be sent surveys. It does save time re. the research, but that’s about it. A list of sites that pay cash only would be helpful. So far I have received about four surveys an was entered in to a drawing each time.
Speaking of CeCe records, I remember that ad on Monster and applied with no response. Also Onebox Enterprises posts “positions” for catalog workers and other at home jobs. It is impossible to get a response from them via email. I keep getting emails from them and other companies saying they have these positions, but the inquiring emails I have sent come back as undeliverable. What is the point? I also have informed monster.com of these issues.

  45. I got suckered into these bastards for $39.95, again skeptical, but did it anyway. I have sent numerous e-mails about a refund only to find myself receiving nothing. Is there anything paypal can do about this?

  46. I filed a report at this address: http://www.fraud.org I suggest everyone do the same as the case will be stronger.

  47. Here’s the big complaint site posted by the Federal Trade Commission…post your complaints please! https://rn.ftc.gov/dod/wsolcq$solcq.actionview

  48. I fell for the freakin scam to, and paid 39.95 for it. There old website is closed down, but thanks to one of the people that posted to this list there new site is Opinions4Dollars.com. I probably wont get my money back but….and in response to #15, its not the fact that we paid for a listing, but they suckered me in by promising that the minimum I would be paid was 15 bucks per survey. the ones I have filled out only entered me into a drawing. I dont even really care about the forty bucks to be honest, but I would love to see them go down for the deception.

  49. Just wanted to let you know, I read another web page created by a woman who applied with Allworkathomejobs.com. She said this was definitely a SCAM. She paid money for training materials and was just sent a letter explaining how she could do the same thing to scam others out of money. I’m very grateful there are websites like hers and yours to keep us who are searching for a legitimate home-based job from being ripped off. Thank you & keep up the good work!

  50. ANOTHER $39.95 MISTAKE!
You know, I SHOULD have smelled a rat when this whole thing started, but being that my wife and I were “OPEN” for this type of garbage, we fell for it and we paid. Although $40.00 isn’t a HUGE amount of money, it’s the thought that some FOOL and his friends are laughing at all the ones who were IGNORANT enough to do this that STEMS me!
We vowed that we would not do ANY more internet “Work From Home” schemes! A couple months ago, we were blessed enough to find ANOTHER home-based business that actually CARRIES OUT what they PROMISE to do! We have made and continue to make GREAT money and we’re running an HONEST and ETHICAL business that allows us to sleep at night! I only WISH I would have found the business we’re in now, before being scammed by these fools! Listen to the testimonies and steer clear of CeCe Records and money4opinions!
    (Seattle, WA)

  51. Thank you, David, for providing this venue. I have just logged on to Monster.com and there are 50 new nationwide ads, dated today (3/23/02), and posted by “Westbrooke Computers.” All these ads link to http://www.opinions4dollars.com. Westbrooke Computers is not listed in the Monster “Research Companies” index–what a surprise. I have not found an email address on Monster to send them a comment about this, and their 800 number is for Monday through Friday. This is probably why Westbrooke chose to post the ad just after midnight on a Saturday morning–2 full days of getting people to sign up before the ads can be pulled. Just a thought . . .

Thank you David! Like “Cindy in Denver”, I have just found one of the ads on monster.com for opinions4dollars.com (3/23).

The ad states, “If you are interested in participating in online surveys that pay $15-$125 guaranteed(cash only)from any computer with internet access, please visit our website for immediate participation at:http//www.opinions4dollars.com.”

As Ray Magliozzi of “Car Talk” would say – “BOGUS!”

I was skeptical too. I adhere to the notion that if something sounds to good to be true, it really is too good to be true. I see that there are many here that propose the same. I never really thought that it could possibly be true, but I was curious. It’s amazing that there are so many unscrupulous individuals – grifters in the game of e-commerce. They are parasites!

At this moment there are 54 ads posted for Opinions4dollars by POWERHOUSE TRUCKING.

    Let the buyer beware!!

To contact monster.com: click on help, a popup dialog box appears – scroll to the bottom, then click on the contact us link. To reiterate “Cindy in Denver’s final ending thought – I think that she “hit the nail on the head.”

    Once again David thanks!

  53. This is a scam, but it is apparently attracting a lot of new people, as the price is increasing all the time. DON’T SIGN UP!!!!!!!!!!!!

  54. Thank you all for posting such altruistic, informative comments!

  55. Thanks for all this info. It kept me from wasting $40. I did leave a message for Monster about this.

  56. Hey folks… just wanted to thank everyone for the heads up. I am planning to forward a copy of this website to my state attorney general for review. If anyone has specific information that might lead to fraud, please send me an email. Again, thank you all for the warning.

    Best,
    me

  57. I just sent Monster.Com and email about this company!! Your website saved me $40.00. I would hope that Monster.Com has some way to BLACKLIST companies that are repeats at posting scams on their website. Seems to me a simple program that would do a search for scam names would work…tie it in to the submit ad button so it does a search before the “job” gets posted!!

  58. Thanks so much for this page. I also received the Monster job notification on this company. I thought it sounded too good to be true. I sent an email to Monster about it. I hope they will remove the listings quickly. In addition, I noticed that they are currently using an America Online email address, so I sent notification to them, as well. I don’t know if they can do anything about the website, since it doesn’t reside on their servers, but maybe my report will cause them a little bit of grief and/or inconvenience. Thanks again for saving so many people from this scam!

  59. I just contacted the site’s web hosting provider (http://www.ameritech-hosting.net) to alert them that this “company” is operating a scam using their servers. I also am reporting them to the Better Business Bureau.

  60. david, thank you, you just saved me $40!

  61. Hello again. I know this is not the appropriate board for ALL work-at-home scams, but another one came to me via Monster, so it has that air of legitimacy. I’ve done some searching on Google, and it appears that National Home Employment Services http://www.nhes.net is the same kind of ripoff. I will contact Monster about this, but just a “heads up” to you all.

  62. I recently published a large ebook about how to protect yourself from scam artists such as Opinions4Money. You might check it out and read some free stories at: http://www.stangrist.com/private_investigator.htm
Next week I will publish a new book about how to match up abandoned money with rightful owners. This is a legitimate way to earn money from home. I have been doing it for more than 10 years in both Canada and the U.S. Good luck to all!

  63. I thank everyone for this page it has saved me $40 as well. Thank you very much

  64. I thank everyone especially you Dave. I found the ad from http://WWW.ALLWORKATHOMEJOBS.COM via Monster during a desperate period that I went through a couple of months ago but something just wouldn’t let me take the gamble. I could really use extra money to help me recup and catch up on somethings from that period and like the rest of us on this site we are people willing to do honest work to pay for what we need or want. I was just about to fold and decided to load the website into MSN which returned a not recognized message back. I loaded it into Yahoo where they came up with your site as well. So here I am. Thankful to you and everyone who placed their comments about their own personal experiences. I pray that GOD give a special blessing to Dave for caring enough for us all to create this site and His blessing to Dave and all of us who want to obtain our needs and desires of our hearts the honorable way. AMEN

  65. I found this website in my schools newsletter and decided to check it out. Turns out the site does not exist anymore.

  66. Thanks so much you saved me from giving away my money to some jerks. Are there any real work at home jobs out there. Or are they all scams? If any one knows of any real ones E-mail me chantallc1j@eatel.net

  67. THANKS FOR INFORMATION….DITTO TO THE ABOVE REMARKS. IF YOU HAVE INFORMATION ON “REAL JOB OPPORTUNITIES”, PLEASE E-MAIL ME, OR ANY OTHER SCAM INFORMATION….TY

  68. This is a total scam! I paid the $19.95 and every survey that I tried to participate in was down and not accepting any new feedback. Also, I’ve just tried to access the site again and it seems to have been shut down. I actually saw their posting on monster.com and monster should be made aware that this “company” is a fraud.

    Out $20 bucks!

  69. http://www.opinions4dollars.com is now shut down. After reading everything posted here I went back to the site I followed a link that will let you know who owns the site. I found an e-mail address and sent them one just to see if I got a response and guess what… the email came back undeliverable. These people may or may not be doing anything illegal but how trust worthy is a business that changes it’s web site and emial address so often. Thanks for saving me the $39.99!

  70. I am also out $40. That is ridiculous.

  71. Does any one know anything about Digital Inputting Corp.? Are they a scam? I have tried to get information on them and can’t. They want $65.00 and that is so they can get you set up. I have been scammed before and some and don’t want to again. So if anyone knows about them please let me know. Thanks

  72. Does anybody know anything about theanswerto.com?
Supposedly you can work out of your home.
I am trying to figure out if it is a scam.

  73. I also was scammed by opinions4dollars. com

I was promised a refund- nothing, email to their bogus Marketing Research Corp is ignored. You can try at O4DResearchGroup@aol.com Good luck. I have found out that through register.com that the website is owned or run by Re-Ande Head, 1324 West 73rd Street, Los Angeles, CA 90004 phone number 310- 655-4402 Again good luck. I have not been able to reach anyone.

I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau of Southland (CA), phone 909-825-7280

I am not going to let this go–I hate thieves and scammers

    Mitch Cohen MT Pleasant SC

  74. Is paidopinions.com another one of these scams? It sure sounds like it. Anyone have any info on them?

  75. IT LOOKS LIKE paidopinions.com
IS ANOTHER SCAM. IT SURE FOLLOWS THE PATTERNS OF THE OTHERS REPORTED. I HAVE REPORTED THIS to fraud.com. I suggest all who have been duped by the these bas***ds contact fraud.com and the Better Business Bureau.

  76. it’s kind of funny how people are linked these days. it seems that you’re doing a great service to all of these people, however not saving quite enough people from the scam.

i’m glad i never came across anything like this, but i’m apologetic to those who have given their money away. thank goodness for search engines like google.

  77. I am so glad to find this information too. I am sure you will be thankful for this bit of information too… Anything to do with Drylake Publishing is also a scam…stay away from it…

  78. Thanks! I found this on hotjobs.com and I can’t believe that nobody verifies this information. Take up to 1000 surveys a day paying between $15-$110 a piece. Give me a break. If you also notice that on paidopinions.com there are no to terms and conditions on the site and when I went to MSN and ran a search there were no matching records. These guys obviously change their name when the heat goes up and try and land the next set of desperate people looking for a buck. With all the scams and spam it will be necessary to put regulations in place to combat these $%^#$%^’s that will, of course affect the rest of the on line population. I wonder how all these thieves would fair in jail because that it where they belong. As long as there are no reprecussions what is going to stop them. Harsh emails, I don’t think so. The Monster/ Hot jobs type websites really need to be more proactive. It’s a shame, nobody gives a damn anymore. Maybe I am wrong you care, wish there was more of you than the other way around.

  79. Thanks for this site. It was the only one I could find that could verify that paidopinions.com appears to be a scam as well. Someone asked about how to find these guys. It’s actually fairly easy. If you go to directnic.com or any other domain registration you can whois the domain name. Usually there’s a name, address, & phone number. You can always call these people up and tell them what you think of their scams! >:)

paidopinions.com comes up with no real name, a PO box in Leesburg, VA, and a phone number of (703)318-5620. The email is dphservice@aol.com. Sounds real legitimate eh?

    opinions4dollars comes up as
    Re-Ande Head

  80. Thanks for posting something about this. I smelled SCAM from the start, but I figured I’d look it up and see if anyone had any experiences with them. Thanks again.

  81. Thanks. Paidopinions looked good . “Never a fee” until you got to their site. Suddenly it was $29.95. Interesting.

  82. Thanks for looking out for Internet fraud. PaidOpinions.com has just posted another request for online surveys/focus groups (6/22) and I’m glad I found your site here after trying in vain to get anything from the Maryland Better Business Bureau. Apparently PaidOpinions is a “subsidiary” of DPH Inc. with an address in Columbia Park, MD and no phone number. If you search for DPH Inc. on switchboard.com, you get a phone number that is an answering service, asking you to identify yourself before the call goes through. How dumb do they think people are, anyway?

  83. Wish I wasn’t stupid enough to buy into it (39.95 worth) and not check it out first. I figured, hey if i don’t like it I can get my money back, you know they have a refund, NOT! I spoke with pay pal and they said there is nothing they can do about getting my money back, I said, but you b asically guarantee these companies!!!!!!!!!!! Hope other people read your site before they fall for it.Thanks

  84. hi!
I was looking for the site paidopinions.com and I found you, I think it is too good to be true. they mean it won’t cost me a thing, I just have to find the website paidopinions.com and participate… I would get 10,00-150,00 an hour… I doubt about so much good luck.
It says: Survey and Focus Group Participants Starting $15.00 – $110.00 per hour. There are no limits to the amount of focus groups you may be asked to participate in and no purchase is necessary. You are not under contract and there is no obligation for you to participate if you decide not to. We appreciate your interest and if you would like details on participating in short 15-30 minute surveys please visit our website at paidopinions.com.

  86. Thank you thank you thank you for saving me 29.95. I was tempted to do it, it was connected to Monster.com, so I figured it must be legit. However, the skeptic in me KNEW there had to be something whether good, bad or indifferent, about them on the web. Lo and behold here it is. I’m assuming Money4opinions.com is the same deal as “paidopinions.com” – which is the site I’m writing in regards to. I think I’m going to spend the $30 you saved me on some MAC lipstick at the mall today! Thanks!

    Karen

  87. I just wanted to put my own little comment in. I have a lot of problems with the way you guys are talking about this company. First of all, I have done *actual* research, and have found out that http://www.money4opinions.com is now http://www.dollars4opinions.com. The site http://www.opinions4money.com is completely unrelated to them. I have signed up with http://www.opinions4money.com and have actually had good results. The $18.95 was made back in 2 weeks, and I’ve made around $150 since then, plus received a lot of cool stuff. No, it wasn’t quite what I expected, but if you read closely you’ll know what you are paying for before you spend your money. Instead of bitching, why don’t you all just try using the links and signing up and actually making money?

    -Brad

  88. Thank you thank you thank you for saving me $29.95. Just a waring – http://www.paidopinions.com is at large on http://www.monster.com. I hope that everyone does a little bit of research before pulling out their credit card.

  89. Are there any sites out there that actually pay you for your opinions and aren’t scams?!

    -Kat

  90. I am so dumb, I paid the 19.95 for money4opinions.com and went to all the sites to register for surveys. The only surveys I received were ones for prizes that I will never win. I was desperate and now am out 20 bucks. I wish I would have seen this site first.

  91. Anybody have anymore info on

    Opinions4dollars.com

    Nothing is happening here.

  92. Thank you so much for bringing this scam to my attention. Has anyone heard about a company called Procard International? Are there any legitimate work from home oppertunities?

  93. I’ve read through the comments posted on this site. Unfortunately, many of the opinions regarding Paidopinions.com are not based on fact; only conjecture, with only one person claiming to have actually joined our fee based membership service. While we may resemble some similar sites, Paidopinions.com’s primary service is our focus group programs which we recruit for and require NO UP FRONT FEES OF ANY KIND. We have recently added a fee based membership service, however this is not our focus. We encourage anyone interested in making some extra income through focus groups to submit their resume for consideration…this cost you nothing, and if selected you can make some extra money as a participant. Thank you for your time.

  94. There is a website coming out called cash4surveys.freegreen. They are a scam too. Just the same as the rest do not fall for it.

  95. cash4surveys.freegreen (SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM) Do not fall for this website its just like the rest.

  96. Thank you so much for your website, David!

You had a post on March 22, 2002 from E.B. Hopkins who stated that he finally found an honest and lucrative home business. Could you please give me more info on this or let me know how I can contact him?

    Thanks again.

    Char

  97. focus group@paidopinions.com they want $29.95 is this a scam too. It is a division of DPH corp. Is there a honest home business out there

  98. What should I think of this? I sent an email to paidopinions.com and receievd an answer within the hour. Is this also a scam? (please read below)

Absolutely! Just contact us with in 60 days.

  99. want to honestly make money from home. Please help. Send me web sites that will pay for opinions or other at home work that pays money for your time. Survey, polls, giving out samples, etc.

  100. Thanks for the fair warning . I almost join them for additional income . But it sounds a bit fishy . I will tell you a way to earn extra cash . I find this the most effective and hassle free . Look in the yellow pages , Market Research and start calling all of them . Your key words : “Do you have any Focus Group I can join” , these are focus/opinion discussion groups and you earn money at the end of the sessions .

  101. Thank goodness for the net and women’s intuition.
I knew it sounded too good to be true. I’ve done lots of focus groups and the one thing that was always true is they pay YOU, you NEVER have to pay THEM.. ever. That’s the only way they can have an impartial person who fit’s their criteria, not just Joe trying to make extra cash to suppliment thier income.

Everyone, stay away & WRITE TO MONSTER to get them to keep these people off thier site!

  102. Hey…I sent this post to Monster. Here’s there reply I got.

  103. Has anyone joined http://www.dollars4opinions.com? To join costs $39.95. I was wondering if anyone has had any bad experiences with this company.

  104. Just another Joe Schmoe wanting to say “Hooray” for this web-site, the only one that told me what I wanted to know, the truth about d4o.com… thanks.

  105. thank you fro saving me $40

  106. So is http://www.dollars4opinions.com a legitimate site to make money off of surveys?? yes/no?

  107. Thanks for saving me the 40, I saw the ad in my law school paper today and was going to join, I knew it sounded to good to be true. Has anyone looked into reporting this, or researching a possible fraud case? Let me know, I would be interested in seeing if I could help.

  108. Suggestion: david can you please find out how much it would cost to ratify your feelings with the survey industry? How much would it cost to settle with your comlaints listed on the website succh as refunds and yourself and even donating some money. Now are you willing to get paid for your opinion so we can work together…if you would like to ratify your complaints on a honest amount please post message with reply. Looking forward to creating peace among the society. Do Not Email!

  109. I was dumb enough to join and pay the $20. Once you pay the $20 half of the companies they refer you to you have to register and wait and are garunteed nothing. It’s a site with broken links. I have asked them repeatedly for my money back and they say it must be done in writting. They will not refund acredit card, although that is how you must give them your money. Don’t use the site. It’s ahorried scam. I turned them into monster.com and they were atleast going to review and probably ban them from thier site.

  110. FTC BBB and othe Local Investigators:

    Report these scam sites immediately!

    1. 4my2cents.com (Scam)
    2. totallyfreecars.com (Sam)
    3. paidopinionsnetwork.com (Scam)

    4my2cents.com (Scam)
    totallyfreecars.com (Scam)
    paidopinionsnetwork.com (Scam)

These 3 sites are completely fraud. I hired an investigator to track down this person. So far we’ve spoke with Clickbank and the BBB in Idaho, and they confirmed it is a female from California with fraudulent leads to Washington. We are currently going to conduct a investigation in Washington as well. The phone number available on the website is a Seattle location. They are currently have 3 counts of fraud so far on their hands.

    1. No business license to conduct business in Washington, Utah, California or Hawaii.

    2. Federal Fraud insufficient mailing information.

    3.Fraud Fictitous Ownership.

People are urged to contact Clickbank at:

    Keynetics Inc.
    915 W. Jefferson St.
    Boise ID, 83702 USA

Clickbank has advise our investigation with the local police departments in Los Angeles and Seattle with the following message “we have several complaints of fraud against 4my2cents.com, totallyfreecars.com, and paidopinionsnetwork.com however we have been advised by FEDERAL AUTHORITIES to leave this account open to build substantial evidence to prodive to STATE and FEDERAL COURTS. All funds will be return to buyers and instructions will be given on how to prosecute” Clickbank ensured me that this female scam artist will not get away in the end.

I will be visiting this site again within the next few weeks with valuable information. I will be providing the following information on the scam artists:

    Full Name
    Social Security Number
    Addresses From Credit Reporting
    Age
    Race
    Gender
Bureau Phone Numbers (Affiliated Friends and Family Members)

For your sake please remove these 3 scam fraudlent websites:

    4my2cents.com
    totallyfreecars.com
    paidopinionsnetwork.com

My next step will be FBI Federal Bureau Investigation! I will be posting valuable information, links, phone numbers to local state law authorities. Your compliance is greatly appreciated.

  111. Wow! I can’t believe that they are able to run this scam through Monster jobs! I’m so glad I looked into this, thank you for this website. I am angry! The first post on here regarding paidopinions.com was back in March. I just got a job match update from Monster jobs to my personal email account listing paidopinions in October! How can they continue this, after they have known about the parent company for almost a year now? I don’t think I’m going to use Monster anymore.
    Thanks for saving me $30!

Hello folks. dollars4opinions have posted an add in the Daily Collegian, the school newspaper and it seems like they have been hitting other large college campuses. Once i saw a membership fee in the fine print, I knew something was wrong. Thanks to this site, I saved myself 39 bucks. Hope you discovered this site before you sign up. Cheers.

  113. Thanks for the info. BUT does this also have to do with the 4my2cents money making scheme? I thought it was too good to be true as many of you did for the other offers of money.
It just seemed fishy to me too.
    Good job DAVID
    Sherry

  114. I was ready to spend $29.95 with 4my2cents.com today and am glad I didn’t. I guess I should’ve known it sounded too good to be true.
    Thanks!

  115. Thanks for the update. Saw the website for paidopinions.com and thought it was too good to be true. Thankfully your site existed because the only other hits I received on a Google search were spot ads for the website. I would have been $20 poorer had I not checked your site first.

  116. Thanks for saving me $40.00 ALmos tfell for dollars4opinions

  117. Monster.com does not care WHO advertises with them, as long as they fork over the $300+ fees monster charges.

I was looking at paidopinions.com’s ad and saw the $29.95 fee and thought I’d run a search. Glad I found this page! Thanks!

  118. I’m so glad this website is out there. I almost spent 39.95 if it wasn’t for the only website that has the truth

  119. SEVERAL MONTHS I WROTE ON THIS COLUMN ABOUT A WEBSITE CALLED opinions4dollars.com

Re-Andre Head, 1324 W.73rd Street, Los Angeles CA 90004 is the so-called administrator. I found a phone # too- 310-655-4402. I filed a report with the BBB of Southland, 315 N.LaCadena, Colton, CA 92324, phone 909-825-7280 (CMPL ID10271077) and they told me they would investigate. They were no help. Since Mr. Head never answered his correspondence there was nothing they could do except note this in their report. They mentioned there were many complaints. So impotent. I wrote a letter to Mr. Head. No answer and no letter returned back. I called the number . Rap music voice mail picked it up the phone-NOT ABLE TO LEAVE MESSAGE ON THIS.. Now what? Their email address 04DResearchGroup@aol.com is active but no response ever from anyone. Anybody else want to get involved. I am sick of this whole thing.

I still want my $39.95. Anybody care? Please answer.

  120. I almost fell for paidopinions.com – so glad I found this site first and saved my money – thanks!

    P.S. Found it on Craigslist

  121. ATTENTION: The websites for Dollars4Opinions.com and the reportedly fraud site Opinions4Dollars.com are practically alike. DO NOT give them $39.95. You will be ripped off. The names and locations have changed but they are still in California. I have reported them to the BBB and the IFCC. You may wanna do the same if you have been ripped off http://www.ifccfbi.gov

  122. ThankGod for this website. It saved me from derision and 40 bucks. Yet I still am interested in making honest money at home. Anyone out there have any luck? Or tips for that matter? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Don’t fall for Dollars4Opinions!

  123. Dollars4 Opinions XXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Stay away unless you want to donate $39.95 to them….. You cannot say you have not been warned

  124. Glad we saw all this first…hope they do get the FBI involved. Sounds like enough ppl lost enough money to do it…only takes 2000.00. Please go for it!!!!!

  125. thank you guys….I want to know about 4my2cents.com…Is this a scam…the site says i ahve to pay just 29.95 bucks and after that I participate in online surveys and make 10 20$ everytime I do it.
Please tell me if anyone has mad any money thru this site.
    prasad

  126. I got screwed by 4my2cents.com also. I found the postings here too late. I sent the the company an email with the URL listed for this site that shows posting # 110 by Jennifer regarding this scam. Anyone have additional info? They aren’t listed at BBB.com.

  127. 4my2cents.com refunded my money without hesitation when I requested it. While I do think the site doesn’t fully explain what the $30 is for, they did treat me fairly. I retract the statement I made about getting screwed by them. I stated that in haste as I feared that I wasted money on the internet. And when I saw previous postings about the site, I remarked before contacting the site for a refund. Regardless of whether or not it is worth $30 for their service, they were fair with me.n

  128. I cannot find my first comment on here. I don’t know why. But someone from m40.com is paying attention. I recieved this e-mail today:
Regarding remarks on your site relative to 4my2cents.com

We have reviewed the URL of davidgagne.net. We find in your archives page, postings which are clearly libellous and will be persued under Federal Law, unless removed from the site.

We contacted Clickbank to verify their position. We sent to them, the quotes as noted within your webpage. Clickbank states they ‘definetly did not say those things!’ Furthermore, they say they’ve never spoke to ‘FEDERAL AUTHORITIES’. Nor is it their policy to ever ‘leave accounts open to build substantial evidence to prodive to STATE and FEDERAL COURTS.’

Additionally, Clickbank assured us that if and when complaints do arise, they contact vendors immediately of such complaints. Along with Clickbank, we (4my2cents.com) have a clean reputation of satifying all complaints!

Your published remarks about us, and Clickbank are clearly libellous. By perpetuating libellous material, you are responsible under the law, and face serious consequences.

We suggest you retract these statements about 4my2cents.com which you’ve made public immedately.

If you do not retract all of these remarks immediately, you will be served by our attorneys.

    Best wishes,
    ask@4my2cents.com
    http://www.4my2cents.com

This is what I sent back. I have had no further reply from them :Anything I said was true. I asked for a refund and they would not refund my money. I also sent them a letter in writting as they stated I needed to do and they sent nothing back in return. If they return my money only then will I retract anything I said.

  129. RE: DOLLARS4OPINIONS—I sent them an email about 2 weeks ago asking them their relationship with the scam site nobody can reach OPINIONS4DOLLARS. They won’t answer the email. Mmmm. Fishy….Just remember the cover on their website looks like it was created by the same people. Does anybody care??? By the way if anyone lives near West 73rd Street in LosAngeles CA where the scam OPINIONS 4DOLLARS was located could you emai me back and tell me what is out there—and who is Re-Andre Head the adminsitrator of the site??? Nobody reakky cares even after the reporting and filing I have done with BBB of Southland CA

  130. They sent this back. This is getting stupid!! They think that I run this site. I don’t !!!!

We always satisfy refund requests! We will satisfy yours as well. Please reply with your name, email address, date of purchase and receipt number. (At the very least, we need a date of purchase)

Additionally, regarding your comments in your email below, please reply to us where you sent the previous letters for refund, and where you emailed ALL previous correspondence relative to this issue. We need exact addresses, URLs and names. (We never tell customer they need to send a ‘letter in writing’ to request refunds!)

Furthermore, Clickbank states they never said the things about us which you’ve posted. We have this in writing (signed by Clickbank) as supporting evidence for court that your remarks are false and libellous!

Unless we immediately receive the above metioned info from you, we will persue this, as your statements about us are completely false and libellous!

    Regards

  131. I got an e-mail from one of these yesterday, they wanted $29.99! NEVER, EVER pay to work! It’s ALWAYS a scam!!!!!

  132. I did not post message #110. Do not say that I did. It was dan ravinsky. This is why I have been reciveing threatening e-mails from 4my2cents.com Please everyone, before you thank or congradulate anyone on any comments please make sure you have the right person. I feel sorry for Dan if theese people are truely able to find him. They are quick to accuse and at least seem over threatening.
Here is the e-mail I sent them once I realized what they had done:
Umm… This is so your fault!!!!!!!!!!!!! You have the wrong person!!!!!!!!!!!
The main topic of this chat is for m4o.com , not your company.
This is easy to confuse because the way the site posts who wrote what, but if go to the bottom of the messages #130 you will see my name BELOW what I have been posting. NOT ABOVE. My message is the one above the one that you are talking about.
The way you are looking at the site message #130 would have been posted by Mitch, and not me. I am the one that posted that. You should realy make sure YOU have the correct person before you threaten them. So now, stop threating me becuase that is illegal espically for something that I have nothing to do with.
No reply from this so I sent this:
Is this finaly done with? I haven’t recieved a reply back from my last e-mail. Please let me know by appologizing for false acusations.
This is what I finally got back.
Thank you for the clarification! We sincerely apologize for the confusion!

    Best wishes.

This is a crapy appology for them threatening for over 3 days and telling me that I have to take back everything I’ve said. I’d hate to realy ever say anything with a real e-mail that is traceable by them. So some word of addvice, go get a hotmail account, make up everything about who you are and then use that e-mail to post how you truely feel about all of theese companies.

  133. Looking for unknown suspect …

  134. Thanks for putting up your site. I would caution anyone to stay away from any “Pay To Work” site such as PAIDOPINIONS.COM. As of Nov 6, the Better Business Bureau has attemped to contact DPH/Paid Opinions multiple times and they have not responded. The BBB simply requests information about a company’s services, products and the owners for listing information. Any legitimate business owner would respond to BBB inquiries expeditiously.

To anyone thinking about shelling out $29.95 for employment – do the math –
a simple posting on a nationally visible job website with only 1000 paid responses over a 30 day period yields nearly $30,000 to the posting company, all at arms length, faceless and convenient. Even with that small per-month number, that’s $360,000 per year. Plus, these companies now have your credit card information.

Some have been known to wait months before applying “mysterious charges” to the credit card numbers they have obtained, thus making the trail less visible/traceable. It’s easy money only for the company posting these scam jobs. They are usually networks of persons operating at various addresses around the country, changing names and info once a situation gets too hot. You can incorporate for as little as a thousand dollars and disolve a company for less than two hundred. With that in mind, shovelling out emails and links to survey sites that enter people in bogus drawings has very little costs for them and insures a high profit margin. Keep up the good work on your site!

  135. I still wish we could trace down those thieves at Opinions4Dollars.com—
Looks like they are stll operating with the new Dollats4Opinions.com

I am mad as hell—what else can we do to stop it. I have already notified as many legal services as I can

    Help—feel free to email
    me back!

  136. WARNING

I’ve done extensive reasearch and Paid Opinions and other survey sites that ask for a nominal payment for a membership are designed to defraud consumers. Additionally these sites are set up as off-shore companies.

They remain under the radar of US law enforcement for two reasons 1) consumers are students or the working poor and 2) they hide themselfs very well in the WWW.

If you were duped into paying for access to there idex of sites consider it a life tutition payment.

I recomend a site “greenfieldonline.com” it’s a good site and you will make about $200.00 per year and there is no cost for sigining up.

  137. Responding to Sean’s comments:

For the record back in July we posted a repsonse to things posted about Paidopinions here.

    Snip—-

Dave said this at 7:23 AM (PST) on Jul 25, 2002.

    snip—-

In addition, we have responded to every written inquiry received from the BBB.
We also have no affiliation with the “Paidopinionsnetwork.com,” which may be in violation of our copyright.

    Thank you for your time.

  138. Thank you all. You saved my marriage because if my wife found out I spent 29.95 on paidopinions.com she would have killed me. Are there any legitimate work at home job sites? Oh ya. I found paidopinions.com on hotjobs.com and I think its on yahoo too.

    Dino

  139. Good news! The e mail offer I just rejected let us know that “4my2cents.com has merged with Surveyjunction.com”. Of and running again

  140. i am having trouble leaving messages here. This is a test message.

  141. OK the message board works again. Just wanted to let you know that Dollars4Opinions.com contacted me and sent me $100 for all my troubles with Opinions4Dollars.com — They said that Opinions4Dollars.com probably copied their template in order to look like them— Anyway I’m out-of-here even though I don’t understand why Dollars4Opinions would pay off a competing company’s problem with me—YOU figure out this one—

  142. UPDATE!!!! NEW INFORMATION!!!

I’ve done A LOT of research and asking around and I’ve found that the Home of Re-Ande Head (1324 W. 73rd Street), is located in the heart of South Central Los Angeles. Given this information and the demographics of this particular area, this scam is more than likely ran by African Americans or Latinos. Moreover, I found that the company addresses of both M40 and D40 are actually addresses of the postal service company Mail Boxes Etc. and not actual suites. How are they getting away with all of this!?! These survey companies are definitely illegitimate.

  143. IMHO it’s best to complain staight to the HOSTING SERVICE of the scammer’s web-site. If they think they’re going to get bad press, or could be implicated as an accessory, etc. they may take the site down. If everyone complains, they are more likely to listen.

The hosts for http://www.paidopinionsnetwork.com are a company called Zeus:- http://www.zeus.com.

Just email them with your complaint…

  144. The general rule of thumb is if a site or job demands a down payment to “qualify” for employment, then it IS a scam.

When was the last time you had to pay a fee to land a job? Probably never.

If these sites are legit, and it is necessary for them to collect such fees, they could do so somewhere down the line as you make your profit, rather than up front.

  145. Thankyou so much David. You saved me $40. I appreciate your effort in providing this information.

  146. Thankyou very much for posting this site. I came across an ad in my college newspaper about Dollars4Opinions. I new it was to good to be true so I wanted to check out some reviews on this company. I am pleased to announce that I saved $ 40.00. The best advice I can tell anyone is “go with your gut feeling”.

  147. I have read a lot of people talking about bad expirences with Opinions4Dollars and Money4Opinions, but the people who talk about Dollars4Opinions are either still asking if it’s legit or saying that the company GAVE them money (either for opinions or just their trouble with similar companys) So what’s the final word on Dollars4Opinions?

  148. Does anyone have any feedback on http://www.careersfromhome.com/ ? This place is just *flooding* monster.com lately …

  149. They currently have a posting on hot jobs. DHS and paidopinions.com prays on stay at home moms, people out of work and students. What a rotten company! Thanks for the heads up.

  150. I am so glad i found out this info before i paid any money. thanks to everybody who did research and saved a lot of us some money. thanks again

  151. I looked up careersfromhome.com on the Better Business Bureau web site http://search.bbb.org/search.html and decided NOT to waste my money on them based on the information provided. Take a look at the report to make your own decision. It seems the key thing to keep in mind with them is that they are not a placement agency or a recruiting firm. It sounds like they search the internet looking for telecommuting opportunities which are readily available to the public anyway. If you think this type of service would save you time then it might be worth it to you. Also be wary of the language they use regarding the companies they list on their home page; they are careful to say those companies “have typically hired telecommuters in the past”, they are not saying that those companies are currently hiring.

  152. Hello, has anyone heard about website stores that anyone can own in which you sell products for free and earn a $3 commission for each one bought by a visitor to your website? I received this offer for a free product webstore through my hotmail.

  153. Thanks a million for your site!I was about ready to dish over $29.95 to those frauds at paidopinions.com-luckily I was smart enough to do a quick Web search and here I am!As the old saying goes, “if it sounds to good to be true it probably is”.The only legit site I know is http://www.clickiq.com-crappy pay (only $5 a month or so) but there are no fees and are at least dwon to Earth.Paidopinions.com makes the outrageous claim that you can be paid over $100 for filling out ONE survey?Yeah, right!Doctors make much less than that an HOUR more or less 10 minutes for filling out a survey! Thanks for saving me the money!

  154. Just letting y’all know http://www.paidopinions.com is flooding hotjobs.com Thanks for this site! I hope everyone continues to post updates as they arise!

  155. After checking out many, many work-at-home schemes, I’ve come to the conclusion that the only way to truly work at home is to babysit!

  156. I signed up to efree stores. However there is not a number where you can contact them. There is a support email address, however they have yet to respond to my questions. I think this may be a scam. If it is indeed so, I just lost 20 bucks. I could not find anything on them concerning a scam. Buyer Beware.

  157. I’ve seen the ads for Dollars4Opinions in my school paper, and I thought it sounded really good, but I guess it isn’t! However, no one on here has specifically mentioned D4O being a scam, only Money4Opinions, etc. Are they all the same? Does anyone know of a good way to make some extra money? Thanks for saving me $39.99 though!

  158. Came accross the same adds for DPH. Why don’t people write to Hot jobs and other sites that are listing these postings and let them know about these scams?

  159. So I guess that there are no legit work on the Web. What about FreeStoreClub.com?

  160. I fell for this crap, I forwarded my resume via hotjobs for this junk, then I got a email directing me the paidopinions.com website, as soon as I got to the site I smelled !*SCAM!*, the didn’t have all the information, the language and wording seemed borrowed, no about us section when I looked up their record no contact info DPH Corporation with PO BOX 2331 with an admin email of dphservice@aol.com there is phone number there as well, I will call later on and ask.

Can’t you dispute the amount with paypal or your credit card company once you find out that this is a scam, I would urge all of you who paid to contact Paypal and your CC companies and file a dispute, they are a scam and you should’t be held liable.

  161. I’m in the pre 29.95 group.

    Thanks for the heads up,

    MS

  162. What about this other site called Surveyjunction.com?
Has anyone heard abouit them? They sound like they’re doing the same thing that this other scam site was doing.
I didn’t do anything yet, but I did read through the whole thing and it sounds exactly like the other one!

  163. Afternoon All. I saw the paidopinions.com on Hotjobs. I just wanted to tell you all about my experience. I sent in my resume according to instructions on Hotjobs. Paid.. sent an email back saying it would cost a one time fee of 29.95. I paid with my credit card & they sent me a login name & a password to get into their members only site. On the site they give a 1 1/2 page list of survey websites that you have to log in into as many as possible. Some are paid to read emails, others are surveys & different things. It is very time consuming because you have to put in your personal info like your address & demographics. Just about all of the paid to read emails only pay .005 cent per email. Basically they are paying you to send all kind of junk mail to your inbox. Some even give an incentive of $10.00 to start but in order to get paid your account has to have $20 in it to get a check in the mail. At .005 cents per email you would have to open a whole lot of the emails they send. They try to get you to sign up as many people as possible thru referrals so that you can benefit from their emails read as well. The surveys that pay minimum $4.00 & above you must qualify for according to your demographics. If you don’t qualify you get entered into sweepstakes drawings for cash. After 30 days of this nonsense I sent an email to them and requested a refund of the fee. I was not pleased with the promises that they made & with the economy that’s 29.95 that I couldn’t afford to lose. By the grace of the Lord they did refund my money the same day if not the next day. My advise don’t waste you time unless you can afford to. Honestly, you could look up the same websites yourself. What you are paying for is the research that someone else did. I hope this helps someone.

    Be Blessed

  164. oh wow….glad to have found your sight before i whipped out the credit card n paid 29.95 to FOCUSGROUPS@PAIDOPIONIONS.COM I found this ad for survey takers listed through hotjobs.com (which was given to me by the employment office). once again THANK YOU : )

  165. I came on this site to warn everyone about surveyjunction.com. It is false and a bucnh of junk.

  166. Hi!
This site is terrific and enlightening. Just wanted to let everyone know that http://www.paidopinions.com has taken their ad off of hotjobs.com. I had been checking hotjobs.com almost daily since the end of last year and paidopinions had listed an ad every day. They listed 10 job openings in 20 different cities (changing the cities daily).
Maybe they will run an ad again because I just checked and their site is still up and running.
Hope this information helps anyone, but I’m writing this just to let you know the latest info.
I did notice, as all of you probably did, that a someone from paidopinions.com posted on this board on July 25, 2002.
Actually I’m not sure if they did really post or it was a cut and paste from another site? I say this because I didn’t see any responses to the person. I wonder if David, the owner of this site, posted it because he got it from somewhere else? I’m must sound kind of dumb here (I’m actually above normal intelligence I think ;)), but the paidopinions.com on post in July here was kind of confusing.

  167. Paidopinions has been deleted from hotjobs – just so you know
    Tom

  168. Thank you for this page!! I found http://www.paidopinions.com on Monster.com on their hourly/part time work section.. I got their email about the $29.95 or whatever, and was seriously considering just doing it because what the hell, right? But before I did all that I decided to search it just to see what came up, that $30 wouldve taken me a few hours of (conventional) work to make up and I wanted to make sure it was worth it.. heh.. well, lets just say I’ll be keeping my money and writing a nice email to the BBB… Thanks again for your site!!

  169. 4my2cents.com Has Merged with Surveyjunction.com — right off their web page. Seems like it is another wolf in sheep’s clothing? I would be wary of it as well.

  170. Yuck. I just sent paidopinions.com my resume… Wish I had done the research 5 mins ago…

  171. David,
thankyou! I had my credit card at the ready when I noticed your warning, you have just saved me $40.00.
    Catherine

  172. If you want to be paid for your opions try mystery shopping. There are many sites out there. Try Delphi Forums, Violition.com for example. I make about $300 in shopper fees and reimbursements. It’s a little lenghty at times and best of all you NEVER should have to pay to sign up.

  173. Dave,
Just wanted you to know that you saved another person from being scammed. My credit card was out.. and somehow I was led here. Thank you and Bless you!!

  174. Dave,
Just wanted you to know that you saved another person from being scammed. My credit card was out.. and somehow I was led here. Thank you and Bless you!!

  175. Another save! Thank goodness for search engines! I’m amazed that after allthese years, those saps are still in business!

  176. Do you have any information on Procard International? Another scam?

  177. Well…what should I say about that I had already spent $30 on http://paidopinionsnetwork.com and I thought that I was gonna be ‘RICHYY RICHH’ but whaddya know I’ve been frauded :'(. lol oh well anyways lets take it as a leson of life Gals’n’Guyz. Takecare See ya.

  178. Now they’re doing business as:

    TheOpinionsNetwork.com …

    What fun!

  179. I found paidopinions.com on CareerBuilder. Their site seemed a little odd, so I am glad I found this place. Why don’t the police or Better Business Bureau or someone shut these people down and make them reutrn all the money?

  180. Surveyjunction.com is a ripoff. Because they got me for my money everyone can now sign on for free: login is 4my2cents and password is zero24grn. good luck

  181. Beware $urveyPayer.com, aka “PME”, now posting on Craigslist.com

  182. ANything on ProCard International?
It has a “satisfactory” rating with the BBB.

I’ve been trying to research it for some time, so far it SEEMS legitimate, but I’m obviously still wary.

  183. Career Builder is still posting jobs for paidopinions.com, and has anyone investigated homecareersearch.com? They post jobs almost every day on career builder. I’d be interested in any LEGIT work from home jobs, with no upfront fees. Drop me a line please.

    David, you’re the best. Thanks!

  184. Nice one guys, thanks for all your research and sacrifice. I was just about to pay up the $29 just to see if it was all legit but now I’m glad I didn’t.

Anyone know where I CAN make extra cash writing and doing stuff on the net?
    Let me know at aidanlean@yahoo.co.uk

Thanks for setting up this site David.

    Aidan

  185. I’m going to go out on a limb here and guess that http://www.cyberforceconsulting.com/
is something similar to the other sites listed here.
Does anyone have any experience with them?
They just spammed me three times in the last ten minutes …

  186. I am trying to figure out if workonline4pay.com is a scam or is for real. Does anybody have any experience with them?
    Thank-you

  187. I really think that focusgroup@ paidopinions is a big scam, first of all I saw their ad on careerbuilders and monster, I noticed that I only had to send in a resume, so I did, they responded to me in minutes, when I tried to start the program they asked me for a payment, that’s when I thought why the heck would I pay to start a job, why don’t they just take the money out of the first pay check that they send to me, so I did some research with the better business bureaus and found out that these loosers would not respond back to better business. It was so hard to find the information on them in the first place, so I thought about it and figured why would a company not want their potential employees to have at leat a phone number, that’s because if we get a phone number for them it will make things much easier for us to find them, so think about it , why would they want money in the first place if they were planning on paying us, I never had to pay to get any other jobs. it’s kind of sad that there are so many people out there trying to scam us for the little that we do have. I have no idea why monster and the other job agencies allow such scum to post bs on thier website!!!!

  188. Thank you for setting up this site. Earlier today I was looking in my local newspaper when I came across paidopinions, it had been in the paper for 2 months now. I finally say what the heck Ill send them my resume. With in minutes I got a response directing me to their web site. The moment I saw that I had to pay THEM I became weary then I did a search. Hum how come there is nothing on this company? Thanks for the heads up, this was the only site that I found after a good 40 minute search. You just saved me some money!

  189. About 8 weeks or so ago I saw the ad for focus groups @paidopinions.com. After visiting their site I saw they had the two programs where the focus groups were free for consideration as a regular employment, and then they had a survey membership side you could pay for. I tried to find info on them and the only thing I could find was this site here. That was after I had sent my resume. Anyway, they contacted me about 2 weeks later for a focus group. I’ve done 3 so far and made almost $1,000 doing it. So they have been on the up and up. They gave me a free membership to their survey program which is a listing of other company surveys. I haven’t been able to do really antything with that so far because I work full time as a fitness consultant. But hey, they paid my rent for the month anyway, which is more than I thought I would get after reading the comments here. I’d definetly give them your resume cause it certianly couldn’t hurt you. The other thing that I wanted to report back on was that Paidopinions.com is not related to the Paidopinionsnetwork.com. I found out that they are not the same group. I don’t no anything about the other group accept they don’t hire people for focus groups and it looks like they just have a paid membership deal. Anyway thats my experience with them and I’m pretty happy.

  190. Looks to me like http://www.ad-placer.com/ is another scam of the same “pay us $XX and we’ll find you work” variety.

  191. I’ve been gotten, but I’ll call tje credit card people and cancel the charge. Boy am I upset

  192. avatar
    Camille DeSalme

About DPH Corp and paidopinions.com – yup, I called my VISA customer service and this charge can be disputed. My VISA company said it was very important to first contact the vendor disputing the claim, so I emailed both PayPal and dphservice@aol.com. That way my dispute and request for refund is in writing. Wish me luck. Camille

  193. Well by gosh DPH Corp (paidopinions.com) refunded my money a few hours after I emailed them and PayPal requesting a refund! I verified the refund in PayPay. Amazing.

  194. Your $1 tip is on the way. Thanks for posting all the comments on DPH Corp and similar misleading sites/companies.

  195. I know there are a lot of people that think from inside a “Wishing well,” and I also understand that people hit rock bottom and hope for something that will give them a bit of hope, AND income. However, I personally don’t understand why people think that when they pay into a service that they’re really going to be compensated. This is merely common sense. I’ve had five years experience online now, and I have to say that my viewpoint of society in general has only been confirmed with the marketing and with how consumers respond. I mean come on, I get about two hundred e-mails in my bulk folder every day, and I have to say to myself, “If people were not buying into this crap.. marketing wouldn’t be going in this direction!” What’s up with you people? Anything, ANYTHING, that is legitimate does not require a fee of any kind, and if it does, guess what, you can purchase the service or product at a nearby business in your area already.
    Wake-up America!

  196. Thank you. I came across this ad the other day and have been contemplating it since, I searched on google and found this site..I’m so grateful to you and to everyone who has confirmed your thoughts. Definitely to good to be true.

  197. Thank you so much.I received the Paid Opinions Network. com email and was about to sign up when I decided to do a search in google to see if I could find out anymore on them when your sit popped up first. You just saved our what little money we have left as my husband has just been laid off from work. Thank you again! Helen

  198. Thanks for this site. I’ve been searching for focus groups and came across paid opinions.com . It looked fishy so Im glad I came acoss this site. Kudos!

Hey as anyone that actually paid post some of the sites that were actually given? If its just a list of fous groups that would be helpful. 🙂

  199. Dear friend.
    I need heip please.

  200. When I read all the comments on this o4m forum and was indeed intrigued. So much so, that I picked out the two only people who spoke up in defense of these money for survey sites. I wrote an email to each of them. One came from back the postmaster as being undeliverable, the other did not reply.

I merely asked whether they were still so upbeat and still earning money to “pay the month’s rent” and still felt it was on the “up and up”.

On the site opinions4money.com I then clicked on one of the links to “click here – join the panel – take the survey – earn money” and here is what came back: an error message, reading:

    >

Well, there you have it in a nutshell. The other actively flashing link on this website takes you to a gambling website with hotdog stand colors and the cheesiest slogans like “Fast Cash, Instant Check, Instant Cash and Easy Cash” – how insanely repugnant!

  201. FYI, the text of that error message in comment 202 follows here below:

Commission Junction: The link you clicked on has expired. It pointed to a Web site that was a member of the Commission Junction network and has since been deactivated or temporarily suspended. We apologize for any inconvenience.

To reach the Web site you are looking for try typing their Web site URL directly into your browser address field, using an online search engine to locate their site, or calling them directly. We apologize for any inconvenience.

So a website these people are actively linking their victims to is actually rejecting opinions4money.com and has “temporarily suspended” them! This is brilliant stuff – a real life mystery evolving in front of our very eyes…

  202. I just wanted to sympathize with everyone regarding m40 and paidopinion. I just read their article… I have one thing to say

Also… something a few of you may like the idea of.. I plan on e-mail bombing paidonion =D… if it’s a scam why not force them to read through about 10,000 e-mails…

  203. Thanx so much. I was nearly going to pay tat 20 bucks for paidopinions. I searched google and found this website. U save my money!!!

  204. I found the DHP ad on Careerbuilder.com. Beware. Thanks so much for the warning!!

  205. There is another company going by your opinions pay ,they have an office in the same general area.
The credit card orders are sent to HR Marketing 208 Bunynswick Road
    New Paltz,NY. 12561
Do you think they are the same co. just a spin off ?

  206. The bottom line is….Any legitimate company will not ASK for money, they will pay money. Any fees will be deducted from your first check. NEVER, EVER pay money upfront, it’s a sure sign of a scam.

I’m sympathetic to all who lost money, I know how it feels to be unemployed and desperate to believe in these too-good-to-be-true scams, however my understanding of business prevented me from getting sucked in…IF MONSTER.COM AND OTHER JOB SEARCH ENGINES DON’T CHARGE A FEE, THE POSTING COMPANIES SHOULDN’T EITHER. That should be your first red flag.

  207. I was already calling my girlfriend to see about shelling out $25 for paidopinions.com since she and I do a lot of time online…figured she could survey while she’s here, and I would when she’s off…first thought was–“wait a minute, since when did I ever pay my employer for an oppurtunity to work?” My next thought was if I did sign up, my “private” information would more than likely be given out to be horded by Spammers in the Snail Mail world and the Electronic world. I’m just glad that google was able to pull up 3 related sites, 2 of them being these posts. Now i saved my money, and was able to complain about something and someone who almost got my $25 dollars (or my girlfriends)..Anyways, thanks for your due dilligence guys..AND YOU SCAMMERS, SUCK IT!

  208. I sent an email to Monster to complain, here was the response. Be sure to read the part about filing a police report:

Regrettably, from time to time, false job postings are placed on the
Monster Job Database which may be used to attempt to perpetrate a fraud
on unsuspecting job seekers. The placement of such false job postings
is a violation of the Monster Terms of Use and may also be a criminal
violation of federal and/or state law.

The Monster Terms of Use provide that Monster disclaims responsibility
for the information in any job postings and that job seekers’ use of
Monster sites and their reliance on material posted by third parties on
the Monster sites is at their own risk. However, when fraudulent job
postings are brought to Monster’s attention, Monster takes action to
protect job seekers. Such actions may include deleting the job posting,
blocking the access of the job poster to the Monster Job Database and
having our legal department work with law enforcement authorities. We are
currently working with the Federal Bureau of Investigation in several
jurisdictions and several state law enforcement authorities which are
investigating certain parties who have placed fraudulent job postings on
    the Monster Job Database.

To protect yourself from becoming a victim of these frauds, we suggest
    the following:

    · Do not give your social security number to any prospective employer
even if they suggest that it is for a “routine background check.”

    · Monster’s Terms of Use prohibit job postings which require job
seekers to pay any funds prior to employment. Do not give your credit card
numbers, bank account number to and prospective employer or engage in
any transaction in which you are requested to transfer or exchange
currency or funds to or for a prospective employer.

    · Be cautious providing any personal information over the phone or
online to prospective employers other than the information you have already
    provided in your resume.

    · Be cautious when dealing with individuals/companies from outside your
own country. Unfortunately, a disproportionate number of the fraudulent
job postings have been traced to companies and individuals located in
    Eastern Europe.

    · When responding to individuals who purport to represent a prospective
employer, research the company to ensure that they are legitimate.

While the above precautions are designed to help you avoid a fraudulent
situation, they are by no means exhaustive, and you should exercise
caution in dealing with unfamiliar parties.

If you feel you have been the victim of a crime by a person posing as a
prospective employer who obtained your name and information from
Monster, please file a police report with your local authorities and ask the
police to issue a subpoena to Monster to initiate an investigation of
    the prospective employer.
There are also additional authorities to whom you may report possible
fraud on the Internet, such as the Internet Fraud Complaint Center, a
partnership between the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the National
White Collar Crime Center whose mission is to address fraud committed
over the Internet. You can file a complaint with the Internet Fraud
Compliant Center online by accessing its website at
    (http://www1.ifccfbi.gov/).

    * For additional information, visit Monster’s Frequently Asked
Questions at http://help.monster.com/jobseeker/FAQ/ or reply to this message
and we will gladly answer your questions (please do not remove the Ticket
    Number from the Subject line).

  209. The only “pay for your opinion” that is for real that I have is found is “Opinion Place” through AOL, you can take a survey 2x a month and get money credited to your AOL bill. It’s for real, thanks for the tip on the other frauds, almost lost 20.

  210. The only “pay for your opinion” that is for real that I have is found is “Opinion Place” through AOL, you can take a survey 2x a month and get money credited to your AOL bill. It’s for real, thanks for the tip on the other frauds, almost lost 20.

  211. so glad I decided to find out more before shelling out my hard earned cash….there’s more of them out there and they all sound the same…thank you all and these are the two websites I stumbled upon…

  212. Well, I am always looking to make a few extra bucks, when I saw the ad for http://www.paidopinions.com on Monster I checked out the link. It looked suspect to me, not a lot of real information although some name dropping of corporate logos etc. I thought I’d check it out through a Google search, found this page and now am convinced that I should save my 19.95, thanks for this site. I do have an issue with Monster posting this site, seems like they have been doing so for some time.
    thanks again.

  213. Hi Folks, been an employment recruitor forr 33 yrs. I’ve read the messages on this posting board about people who pay $19.95 or $29.95 for a job leed or info to get a Job. Let me tell you, anyone that even inquires on a posting is not very smart, If you lost your 20 or 30 bucks, you’re damn lucky and thats a small price to pay to hopefully learn something. I don’t lift my phone for less than $2500.00 for job placement. Sounds like you folks are looking for free lunch. Try a box of Cracker Jacks, Your chances will be better. Get smart!

  214. Thanks for saving me $20

  215. I dislike Scams. I dislike people who benifit from Scams. May the people who benifit from Scams burn in Hell. Thank God its friday. I like Friday

  216. The teachers say I’m Special. They also say I can spell real good. sometimes

  217. i discovered a posting for http://www.paidopinions.com on http://www.careerbuilders.com and have alerted them to their fraudulent nature.

  218. by the way – here is the response from careerbuilder.com – fast, but ineffective:

“With over 400,000 active jobs, we cannot guarantee that every job that appears on our site will meet our house rules.

That being said, we do hold our job posters to the very high standards set in our Terms and Conditions. When a job that possibly violates our Terms and Conditions is brought to our attention, we immediately investigate the allegation and take action to remedy the situation. If the job is deemed to be in violation, we will take action, including, but not limited to, terminating the job posting as soon as evidence of the violation can be obtained. For legal reasons, we must have evidence of the violation on record before we can take action against any paid job posting.”

i guess the moral is to not count on these job posting sites to screen properly. job hunter beware.

  219. Thank you for the info. You saved me $24.95. It just goes to show the only way to guarantee some extra cash/income is to go out and work for it.
    Gracias…

  220. Sites like paidopinions.com and paidonlinesurveys.com are scams pure and simple. The defraud people looking to make some extra money, and they do a tremendous disservice to legitimate market research companies like our own. No legit market research company would EVER ask you to pay ANYTHING in order to participate. None of the companies in the private “databases” of these scam sites are affiliated with the operators, and in most cases the research companies are unaware that they are being misrepresented by these sites. Market Research is not a way to make a living from home, any legitimate research company WOULD pay you for participating in a study but WOULD NOT want you to do more than one or two studies per year. I am in the process of getting our company removed from the sites I have discovered we’re listed with. I just noticed btw that the owners of paidopinion.com apparently also run dphresearch.com which blatently plagiarises entire passages of text from our website. Grrrr.

Good rule of thumb: Never pay for a cash making opportunity, and never trust a site that lists no phone number or address.

    Thanks for the forum David–

  221. i really feel so sorry for those who were scammed… im 20 and i almost fell for a scam too by the zaken corporation. has anyone of you heard about it? i almost spent $148 for tyring it but thnk God i researched that it was a fake! it broke my heart though to find out that it was illegitimate for i thought it must be the answer of becoming financially free and secured and some other reasons i have like how can i help my family with their bills etc. etc. but i was again,wrong.. i should also learn from others mistake

anyways,if anyone of you knows any work at home jobs that are 100%legitimate and don’t require an investment (that now makes me think scam) please let me know

btw, anyone heard of procard international??? and ameriplan???
the sites are: http://www.procardinternational.com and http://www.ameriplanusa.com

i wonder if they are legitimate or not pls. pls. let me know

  222. You should NEVER pay to get a free list of surveys – I use http://www.surveysam.com as a free reference. I have joined about 30 market research companies and I get about 10 survey invites in my email daily. Mostly from SurveySpot, Greenfield, Ciao! ang GoZing.

  223. tylermuseq@yahoo.com
    jeroghadaffi001@yahoo.com
they together planned a sceem that i ended up paying 6000 for .
    watch out for thesenames

  224. SCAM NOTICE: http://www.workonline4pay.com for $37.25 they claim you get instant access to online surveys that they supply. You never get access and try to send an e-mail with your complaint as they ask you to if you cannot access the site with the username and password they give you, you’ll never get a responce. I gave them the 2 full work days to respond to my e-mail and got nothing I e-mailed them several times and got no response. I have requested my money back at clickbank and am hopping although it’s doubtful that I’ll get my money refunded in full. I gave theses people 5 days to respond, 5 work days and nothing. DON’T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE!!!!

  225. Does anyone know about procardinternational.com and ameriplanusa.com
they both mention about working from home.
Can anyone tell me more about this companies

  226. Hi – just wanted to thank you for saving me (and a lot of other folks, by the look of this page) from spending money on a scam. Thank goodness for common sense, Google and your site. Keep up the good work.

  227. Hi,

Can someone tell me if cash4surveys.com and cash4homeowrker.org is the same as the sites detailed above. I’m guessing they to are a scam!!

  228. PLZ EVERYONE! DO NOT TRUST BBB! I was a member for many years & they are JUST A BUSINESS & DO NOT CARE WHATSOEVER about YOU, the consumer!…!!!

As long as you pay your yearly DUES they will tell ANYONE who calls on you (bad/complaint/whatever!) you are an “honest & upstanding company”

I KID YOU NOT!! ASK ANYONE WHO IS A MEMBER!!!!

  229. I was wondering the same as Louise…does anyone know if cash4surveys.com is a similar scam? I’m assuming that it must be because from what I have read it sounds practically the same. Until I get some feedback on here I wont part with any money….oh and this may be a silly question…but do any of you know of any legitimate online sites where it IS possible to actually earn money? I’m prepared to put in the work if there will eventually be a reward…or is it just a pipedream?

  230. Hello,

Never, ever pay for a list of paid surveys. There are SO many free survey directories on the web, and you can also use Google. One good website is http://www.boxticker.com , but there are many more.

  231. Think i now know of one more. As ever sepitical, i asked 6 buyers who bought this.
ALL LEFT ME NICE LETTERS not to proceed and waste my £19.99.
all stated only received a few links, which most were out of dat, few have won a few prices over a period of 4 months, some even got cash £21.00
So beware, if item being sold on auction, AS PREVIOUS BUYERS,(As far back as possable, ) what they thought.
this also convinced me further the same goes to the paidoptions one.
    Happy genuiene hunting…

  232. Hi i’m from Shotland, I was wondering if cash4surveys.com is a scam or not does anybody know?

  233. I am writing about procard international. Don’t get involved with them. I enrolled in procard international’s dental/vision plan on April 17th, 2006. My checking account was charged 34.90$ on April 19th and then 14.95$ on May 1st. They have a 30-day trial period in which you could cancel and receive a full refund. I decided to cancel my enrollment, and sent my cancellation in on May 13th, within the 30 trial period, so I would get a refund of the 34.90$ and the 14.95$, since I was charged the 14.95$ within the trial period. I marked the day I sent my procard stuff back on my calendar to keep tract of when I sent it and my cancellation in. I hadn’t received my refund yet, so I then emailed them on June 14th or 15th and told them I sent my card back and a request for a cancellation on May 13th, and asked when I would receive a refund? I was told I didn’t request a refund and that they didn’t get my cancellation back within the 30days and it wasn’t postmarked within the 30days. First, it shouldn’t matter if I asked for a refund or not, because it says in their membership policy on their website that you may CANCEL and get a refund. And that’s what I did. I CANCELED. I sent my cancellation in on MAY 13TH and have absolutely NO idea why they WOULDN’T have gotten my cancellation before the 30 days were up or why it wouldn’t be postmarked within, by, or before the 30days, and they gave me NO date as to when it WAS postmarked. But I STILL sent my cancellation in on May 13th, and I put it in the mailbox on May 13th, so I WOULD get a refund and with the intention OF getting a refund.
They then tried to tell me that they thought I knew I wasn’t qualified for a refund when I sent my notice in and when I was charged in June I decided to try and get the refund then. That is absolutely NOT true. I was NOT even CHARGED in June. they don’t even know when they charge someone or not. I KNOW I sent my cancellation in on MAY 13, within the 30 day trial period so I WOULD qualify for a refund and I KNEW that I would when I sent my cancellation in on MAY 13th because that was within the 30 day trial period. I turned my complaint over to the consumer protection agency, attorney general and local news station that helps consumers with complaints and procard has ignored their letters and me. I have proof that supports my complaint and they have shown no proof to me or the above agencies that says you have to ask for a refund to get one, and no proof of when my cancellation was postmarked. They just ignore it and are not being very fair about this or doing anything to resolve my complaint. What kind of company is that? I don’t know how they can get away with it and will be taking legal action against them. They are going against their own guarantee by not giving me a refund.
Also, it’s nearly impossible to make money on this business and don’t know how other people are supposedly doing it. Even when you can get company or personal leads to sing up to become registered, they never become active because they can’t get anyone to enroll in the plan and they don’t want to enroll them selves. Or, you can’t get anyone to become registered, after they find out that they have to call business because the business never want to enroll in the plan, and after they find out they will have to enroll someone else, which they can’t, or themselves, which they don’t want to, in order to become active. So, you can’t make money on this business, you just loose it, and everything I stated is the truth, and thought you should know what kind of company this really is so you can think twice about getting involved with them

  234. I did some checking in to them a while ago. And it was what everybody else says a Big Scam. It sucks that you have towade through so much crap to find the legitimate ones.
