Men’s Fashion: Part 1, Suits
Unfortunately the majority of suits you see look awful. This isn’t necessary. Even if you work ten hours with your jacket on, being mindful of your clothing will keep you ready for cocktails after work. Too many men either don’t care or don’t know how to wear a suit, and, suitably, look like shit. This is worth avoiding.

DropCaps
Have you ever wanted to format the first letter of a paragraph so that it was larger than the rest of the text in the paragraph? This effect - commonly seen in print - is called the “dropcap”. The easiest way to do this is with a little bit ‘o CSS. It works in most browsers and adds a smidge of flair to your site. You only need to utilize three style attributes to get it to work.

Elements of Style
A participial phrase at the beginning of a sentence must refer to the grammatical subject.
This is one of my favorite rules. Well. Not really. But I think every high school student should be required to read (and memorize) William Strunk, Jr.’s Elements of Style. I don’t know how you could have possibly made it through high school and college without ever buying this book. If you did, though, don’t worry. The folks at bartleby.com have made the full text available on line. Don’t write anything - ever - without checking Strunk’s rules first. Of course … that’s just my opinion. <grin>
