Currently in Austin, TX for SXSW. I’m on the 15th floor of the Hampton Inn and the view from my window at 2am is gorgeous. This is a great city — a lot like Gainesville, FL. The conference is just extraordinary. I have been taking notes like mad and will hopefully someday post many of them.

Druzblog
The essay What Happened To My Parents? had me in stitches this morning. The about page is excellent, too. This guy has a nice, sharp site - clean graphics, easy to navigate, good writing. I want to call it “crisp” for some reason. The druzblog just feels like Maine. I like.
I also came across Out of Range. I love the design. It’s very soothing. He has some cool functionality that I’ll likely be trying to steal soon.
I think I clicked to him via Leia’s comment system, or maybe from Karen Lucci’s site, but I can’t remember for sure. The Texas blogging community seems to be very close - they have happy hours and all know each other. I think that’s pretty cool.
Friendly note to single-author blogs: There’s no need to place your name after every post!
