Another one of my favorite reads is going to disappear. I don’t understand the concepts of web ennui that seem to bother Tracy, but I do know that the chances of me going into BFBC (lyrics) – that’s Betty Ford’s Blogger Clinic – are only slightly greater than my chances of playing in the NFL next season. I do have blazing speed and cat-like reflexes (although cats are satanic evil loathesome disgusting creatures), but even with my recent move to Tampa I doubt the Bucs will be calling any time soon. There is really nothing on this page that I wouldn’t say to a stranger in line at the grocery store, so why would I not say it to the rest of the planet too? (Okay, maybe except for that one time I told someone I was going to eat them at Ralph’s, but I didn’t really mean it.)
There is a song that I have in my head sometimes. I wrote it a long time ago. I know the guitar and the beat and the chorus, but that’s about it. The refrain is something like, “I just need a little downtime / I’ve been up for so long / It’s time to get down” and I’m sure Dick Clark would love to hear it. Whatever. I guess sometimes everyone needs a little downtime. Have fun doing whatever it is you’re going to do, Tracy. You owe me a beer next time I’m in LA.
