When my son and I went to Star Wars Celebration Orlando earlier this year, I picked up a flyer from the Goodwill booth. They were promoting May as “Star Wars month” and the flyer noted that the website was a great place to find all sorts of used and collectible toys. I checked it out when we got home and was pleasantly surprised to find pages and pages of awesome stuff up for auction.
I scored a very cool R2-D2 night light and a brand new Sphero BB-8 for a total of about $30 (including shipping & handling). The BB-8 alone is a $150+ toy, so that counts as an incredible deal. My son already has one – a Christmas gift from his awesome uncle – but it’s cool to have a spare in reserve. When he inevitably breaks it, I’ll be able to magically repair it with my dad superpowers.
