I love playing Guess the Movie. I’m surprised that it took as long as it did to guess Raiders of the Lost Ark. The clincher was, “Does the main character HATE snakes?”
Did anyone else happen to catch the AFI 100 Years of 100 Thrills special on last night? Here’s the list. You should visit the official 100 thrills site and read the list of all 400 nominated movies. You can vote, too. The public’s choices are interesting; although I wonder if the current standings are more a comment on who is on the internet these days than which movies are really “full of thrills”. Seven out of the public’s top ten either star Harrison Ford or were directed by Steven Speilberg. Not coincidentally, seven out of the public’s top ten were also scored by John Williams.
