FridayFive: Crazy Movies

Throughout the late 80s and early 90s, my little sister and I would spend a few weeks every summer visiting dad in Rhode Island. We would have many awesome adventures and had great vacations, including trips to upstate New York, Maine, Boston, New Hampshire, Vermont, and lots of BBQs and parties.

It seems like at least once every summer, dad would make some popcorn and we’d all watch some completely insane and inappropriate-for-kids movie. (I remember I was scared to death after watching Gremlins.)

Here are five of the wackiest films we saw with dad:

  • Parents – 1989
  • Amazon Women on the Moon – 1987
  • The Thing – 1982
  • Attack of the Killer Tomatoes – 1978
  • Koyaanisqatsi – 1982
