I am continually surprised by people. Three (count ’em!) Three days in a row SixKill.com has seen fit to post excellently written essays. The first was about the web-colored glasses through which he (and I and probably you) are viewing the world right now. The next one was about Southern hospitality (Bar Intimacy and the New South). Today he wrote a short piece about a lunch break during a conference and I enjoyed it. There is a ton of meaningless crap out there (w h a t a c o m m a n d o f t h e l a n g u a g e j u s t c a l l m e s h a k e s p e a r e) so trust me, when you stumble upon a page like Sixkill you want to remember how to get back there later.

What Is This?

davidgagne.net is the personal weblog of me, David Vincent Gagne. I've been publishing here since 1999, which makes this one of the oldest continuously-updated websites on the Internet.

A few years ago I was trying to determine what cocktails I could make with the alcohol I had at home. I searched the App Store but couldn't find an app that would let me do that, so I built one.
