My office at Home Shopping Network Direct used to be occupied by the person in charge of deciding what got on the air. There are a hunka buncha file folders next to my computer. The things that didn’t make it. When my mind wanders … when I’m thinking of non-computer-related stuff (which is once every three seconds) … I see folders for such strange products as:

  • Huggable Hangars
  • House of Kangaroo
  • Healthy-Dri
  • Faldo Wedge
  • Air Strips
  • Molecubond
  • Pack Mate
  • Party Mate
  • Pure Spin
  • Living Aids
  • and, of course, Magic Scissors
