The USRowing web site is essentially the same as it was five years ago. It’s incredible that this is the organization that basically runs the sport of crew in the United States and they haven’t bothered to make the most simple of upgrades. There must be thousands of rowers who are also computer geeks. Their product / merchandise page, just as it was five years ago, is so bug-ridden that you cannot possibly purchase anything. It’s terrific that the grey sweatshirt that I love is on sale for only $22.50, but since web users don’t have cgi permissions on the server, there’s no way to add one to your “cart”. C’mon, guys! Somebody over there really needs to move into at least the late-90s. When I traded in the Isuzu Rodeo for my Nissan Frontier I forgot to remove my spiffy USRowing license plate frame. I’d love to buy a new one (Only $6.00!) but they apparently only want to pretend to sell things …

A few years ago I was trying to determine what cocktails I could make with the alcohol I had at home. I searched the App Store but couldn't find an app that would let me do that, so I built one.
