Indiana Jones IV

May 10th, 2002 @ 10:59 am PDT

Tom Stoppard is being courted by George Lucas, Steven Spielberg, and Harrison Ford to write the script for the forthcoming Indiana Jones film, says Variety. The trio are allegedly trying to lure the British playwright away from his work on the film adaptation of the novel Tulip Fever to work on the latest swashbuckling adventure. Stoppard, who won an Oscar for his screenplay for Shakespeare in Love, is now much in demand in Hollywood. His last project was the British war film Enigma.
