Folks, Moon Knight is damn good.

I still can’t believe they spent weeks hyping first ever live performance of We Don’t Talk about Bruno so every kid convinced parents to let them stay up late on a school night and then they performed that weird We Don’t Talk About Bruno (Oscar 2022 Version) instead. Kids hated.

Okay. Doing a Godfather tribute in 2022 and being careful enough with the editing to avoid any spoilers is epic commitment.

Great New York Times Opinion article by Ross Douthat but it misses 2 biggest reasons:

  1. fear of always-armed, gun-toting public and
  2. tix + dinner + babysitter + $12 popcorn = car payment

I’m legit still annoyed by all the midi-chlorian nonsense.

I probably have twenty P.J. O’Rourke books on my shelves. Truly one of the greats. I’ll miss him.
