My dad’s birthday is December 20th. This year Mother Nature’s gift to him was a tremendous snowstorm that blanketed much of the East coast. He took some terrific photographs of the area around his home in Portsmouth, Rhode Island. Here’s a sample:

  1. What fabulous pictures. I’d so love to see some snow falling like that here in Texas and have the opportunity to go out and play with the kids in it. Thanks for sharing these pictures. I love the one of the clock. It almost looks like something that would be in a Christmas cartoon from the 60s or something.

What Is This? is the personal weblog of me, David Vincent Gagne. I've been publishing here since 1999, which makes this one of the oldest continuously-updated websites on the Internet.
