In the border of this photograph you can read the date JUN 75, and film was ridiculously expensive forty-three years ago, so I’m going to go out on a limb and assume it was taken on my second birthday. I found it in an old shoebox full of pictures my mom saved for decades.
I miss her every day, but birthdays and holidays are extra painful.
