Danny Wuerffel helped the Florida Gators win the 1996 National Championship. I can’t believe he is going from the crappiest team in the NFL (the Saints), to the best team in NFL Europe (the Fire), to the team I hate most in the NFL (the Packers). Not only did the cheeselogs beat my Patriots in the ’96 Super Bowl, but they are the most hated enemy of my Tampa Bay Bucs.

I like Mike. Mike’s a pretty decent guy. I’m even willing to overlook the fact that he has terrible taste in academic / athletic institutions. I don’t want to get involved in an inter-blog argument about this. I’ll just say that the absolute best college football game I’ve ever seen, full of amazing plays and even-more-amazing players, excellent momentum swings and heartbreaking tension, had a final score of 32-29 and not 52-20.
