#FridayFive: Important Things to Consider When Moving August 2nd, 2013 @ 7:55 am PDT
Read the Friday Five …house May 5th, 2000 @ 7:36 pm PDT
Sylvia and I were in Tampa all day for the home inspection. We got a copy of the floor plan of the new house.

Hey! Maybe Melanie will do a drive-by to confirm how nifty the hizouse is … and no, Mel, Jose Cuervo had nothing to do with the bleaching! And not to over-blog her or anything, but the redesign at hyperbole is rad. I love it. The pop-art clip art is killing me – very very hep. […]
realtor.com May 1st, 2000 @ 12:33 pm PDT
Over at realtor.com there is a listing for the house we are trying to buy. I snagged the photo and saved it here if you want to take a look. (Yes, I know that using here is poor form. Sue me.) The color is sort of washed out in the picture, it looks much better […]
House April 29th, 2000 @ 11:38 am PDT
Our offer was accepted. Barring anything crazy, we will soon own the house at 3621 San Pedro in Tampa, Florida. It’s a bungalow that was built in 1926. It’s really huge. It’s really cool. I’m really scared.
Tampa April 28th, 2000 @ 10:45 pm PDT
We were in Tampa all day today looking at houses. The wife wasn’t as thrilled about the Centex townhomes at Bayshore Pointe as I was. We did see some excellent homes. If we could handle living in Brandon (15 minutes East of Tampa) we could have a phat home for easy money. It’s really just […]
Hyperbole April 27th, 2000 @ 1:48 pm PDT

Tampa April 24th, 2000 @ 4:39 am PDT
I’m off to Tampa yet again … I hope living there is much easier than buying a house there is turning out to be. Sylvia and Bhrett arrived safely last night. On the drive home from Orlando they regaled me with stories of monkeys, elephants, hospitals without windows, dust, dirt, cows in the highway, oppressive […]
House March 20th, 2000 @ 2:52 pm PST
It looks like all of this work will have been pointless. Unless we get a really lucky break I think they’re going to sell the house of our dreams to some undeserving randomites. How depressing …
House March 20th, 2000 @ 12:11 pm PST
Buying a house is just about the most stressful thing I’ve ever done! This is crazy amazin’ insane. I am pulling my hair out and sweating buckets. It doesn’t help that the A/C is broken in my office so it’s 100 degrees in here. I have never really dealt with hundreds of thousands of dollars […]
