I guess I really should say something about the fact that last night it rained the most and the hardest and the craziest and the lightningest that is has here in at least two years. It was an amazing downpour. It was biblical. Did I mention that the block of condos behind mine – like 20 feet behind mine – was struck by a wayward bolt from the clouds, burst into flames, and burned like a volcano for several hours?

Firda thinks I should do my hair and goatee like this. I guess it would certainly be different, but I don’t know if I’m willing to invest that much in hair gel.
Toy Yoda
The best line in this article about a toy Yoda is, “Yoda and his ten-inch light saber will certainly appeal to younger kids.” There’s also a photograph of what appears to be a tremendously huge Yoda somewhere in New York.

Billy has started something. I think that Lifeshots is something new. It’s something different. I also thought — and still think — that Uber.nu is new and different. It should be noted that I am often wrong. Both of these could be stale and very similar to everything else you’ve seen. But I like ’em.

The University of Tennessee Vols web site is excellent. Here’s a typical headline: Lying-Ass Bitch Makes Obviously Untrue Allegations Toward Football Program Sometimes I just can’t decide … which team do I hate more? The Yankees, The Vols, or the ‘Noles? Ouch! It makes my head hurt just to think of all three of them at the same time.
