About 1.5 million alligators live in Florida, and 287 attacks against humans have been recorded in the past 52 years. A full-grown horse was attacked by an alligator and dragged into a pond in Titusville; and a two year old girl is Florida’s 2nd gator fatality this year.

The space shuttle Endeavour launched this afternoon. I was lucky enough to live in Daytona Beach, FL when I was a kid so I was able to see this many, many times … My mom took us to Cape Canaveral to see one of the very first launches. Incredible. Awe-inspiring. Loud.
Less Than Jake
I saw Less Than Jake last night at The Hollywood Palace. Amazing concert. I love those guys. One of the songs from their new album is called Gainesville Rock City.
